Introduction of Commercial Freezer

Commercial freezer refers to the refrigerated or frozen freezer used to store ice cream, beverages, dairy products, quick-frozen food, food materials, etc., in commercial business channels such as supermarkets, cold drink stores, frozen goods stores, hotels and restaurants.

Product Introduction

Commercial refrigerators are highly professional. They not only have professional storage temperature requirements, but also have strong requirements for display. A refrigerator with good display can effectively promote the sales of operators. Therefore, a typical feature of commercial refrigerators is that there are many With single-layer or multi-layer transparent glass doors (except for kitchen refrigerators used to store food materials), consumers can see the contents without opening the freezer door.

product category

Commercial refrigerators are generally divided into three categories: commercial refrigerators (also known as beverage cabinets), commercial refrigerators (also known as refrigerators), and kitchen refrigerators, with volumes ranging from 20L to 1600L. Among them, the temperature in the commercial refrigerated cabinet is 0-10 degrees, which is widely used in the storage and sales of various beverages, dairy products, fruits, and flowers. According to the door opening method, it is divided into vertical type (front opening type), top opening type, and air curtain type. The vertical freezer is divided into single door, double door, three door and multiple doors. The top opening type includes barrel, square and air curtain type. There are two types of front and top exposures. The domestic market is dominated by vertical commercial refrigerated cabinets, accounting for more than 90% of the total market capacity.

The temperature in the commercial freezer cabinet is generally below -15 degrees, which is mainly used for the storage and sales of ice cream, quick-frozen dumplings, glutinous rice balls, and frozen meat. According to the structure and industry usage habits, it is divided into horizontal ice cream cabinet, island quick-frozen food cabinet, vertical commercial freezer, desktop cabinet, and ball cabinet. Horizontal ice cream cabinets are the mainstream of commercial freezers in the Chinese market, with common volumes ranging from 100L to 600L; island quick-frozen food cabinets are referred to as island cabinets, which are the product types favored by quick-frozen food customers, aquatic product operators, etc.; vertical commercial freezers Because of its larger display area and more intuitive display effect, it is mainly used for the storage and sales of high-end ice cream. Desktop cabinets are generally used for counter sales in high-end places. They are small in size and lovely in appearance.

Kitchen refrigerators, also known as kitchen freezers, are low-temperature storage equipment used in the catering industry to store ingredients. Since the kitchen refrigerator is used in the back kitchen and has to be in contact with food and raw materials, it should have the characteristics of wear resistance, acid and alkali resistance, fire prevention, antibacterial, and sanitation. Therefore, the kitchen refrigerator is generally made of stainless steel. Kitchen refrigerators are generally divided into desktops, two doors, four doors, six doors, etc. according to the structure and door. The increase in the door of the kitchen refrigerator indicates that the number of spaces divided into different temperature ranges in the cabinet has increased, making the function of the kitchen refrigerator more likely Perfect, items with different storage temperature requirements can be accessed in different doors, which can reduce mutual interference of stored items and help reduce cold air leakage.

Development path

Commercial refrigerators are a product of the market economy. With the development and growth of major beverage, ice cream, and quick-frozen food manufacturers, the market scale continues to expand, and the product form is gradually subdivided. At first, incubators were generally used in the market to maintain the temperature of items. Later, with the advent of refrigerators, ordinary foam-door refrigerators were used to store beverages and ice products for sale in supermarkets and street stalls. The rapid development of fast-moving consumer goods has driven commercial use. With the development and launch of refrigerators, the market scale of commercial refrigerators is rapidly expanding due to more intuitive display, more professional storage temperature, and more convenient use.

Working principle

Similar to the principle used by ordinary refrigerators, commercial refrigerators use compressors to compress liquid refrigerant into high-temperature and high-pressure gaseous refrigerant, and then send it to the condenser to dissipate heat and become a low-temperature and high-pressure liquid refrigerant, so what the condenser blows out is Hot air. Then the throttling device (usually using a capillary tube) throttles and reduces the pressure, and enters the evaporator. After the refrigerant reaches the evaporator from the capillary, the space suddenly increases and the pressure decreases, the liquid refrigerant will vaporize and become a gaseous low-temperature The refrigerant absorbs a large amount of heat, and the evaporator becomes colder, using direct cooling or air cooling to achieve cooling in the cabinet.

Use of attention

  1. Domestic refrigerators use AC 220V/50Hz power supply. If the power supply conditions do not meet the AC 220V/50Hz (187-242V), an automatic voltage stabilizer above 1000W must be installed for use.
  2. An independent dedicated socket must be used and grounded reliably. The power cord of the freezer is equipped with a (grounded) plug that conforms to a standard three-wire (grounded) socket. Under no circumstances should you cut or remove the third pin (ground) of the power cord.
  3. It is strictly forbidden to put flammable and explosive dangerous goods and strong corrosive acids and alkalis in the freezer.
  4. Do not use flammable sprays near the refrigerator to avoid fire.
  5. When there is leakage of flammable gas such as gas: close the gas leakage valve; open the exhaust device and doors and windows; do not unplug or plug the power plug of the freezer;
  6. Keep the keys properly and don’t let children play in the cabinet to prevent accidents.
  7. Once the freezer is cut off, it can be switched on again after more than five minutes to avoid damage to the compressor or the system. For maintenance, the power plug must be unplugged. After the refrigerator is installed in place, the plug should be accessible to prevent unplugging the power plug in time in case of danger.
  8. If the power cord needs to be lengthened, the cross-sectional area of the lengthened cord shall not be less than 0.75mm2. If the power cord is damaged, a dedicated cord must be used and contact the local after-sales service personnel of the freezer company to replace it.
  9. Do not put food in the freezer that has just been connected to the power supply. After letting the freezer run for a period of time (about 3 hours in summer and about 2 hours in winter), put the frozen food in the cabinet for storage.
  10. After moving the freezer, let it stand for more than ten minutes before turning on the power.
  11. Clean the freezer regularly, and unplug the power plug before cleaning for safety. Regular dust removal of the heat exchanger in the engine room can improve heat exchange efficiency and reduce energy consumption.
  12. Commercial freezers that are mechanically defrosted should be defrosted regularly to avoid excessively thick frost and increase the energy consumption of the freezer. When defrosting, first transfer the goods in the cabinet, let it stand for a period of time until the frost layer has melted, and then use the defrosting scoop equipped with the freezer to remove it. Do not use sharp objects to defrost with force to avoid damage to the inner wall of the freezer.
